I’d contact at least 2-3 lenders and ask to get pre-qualified by all of them at the same time, then compare their rates/fees, etc. Be sure and ask them to provide you with a “Good Faith Estimate” (Also known as a “GFE”), so you can get an idea of what the breakdown of the costs/fees are associated with getting the loan.
